I saw this technique in a Gordon Ramsay video and its brilliant. The corn tastes awesome and is without doubt the best way to prepare it.
- Corn on the cob.
- Olive oil.
- Any seasoning. Just salt and pepper is fine as well.
Use a thick bottomed pan, which also has a lid.
Heat about two teaspoons of olive oil. Place the corn in the oil. Keep rolling it around once in a while, till the corn gets a deep golden hue and a little searing. Pour in a cup of water. Be careful. The pan is hot and it may sizzle in a explosive manner.
Cover and let it simmer on low heat for about 10 mins.
Season and Enjoy.
