A very simple appetizer to go with any protein of your choice.
You Need:
- Bok Choy: Sliced lengthwise. Do not cut the thick root end as it provides support.
- One garlic clove per bok choy, sliced.
- Butter.
- Chilly Flakes.
Get a pan to medium heat. It should not be very hot. Spread about a teaspoon of butter. Lightly toast the garlic in it. Move the garlic to one side and place the bok choy, cut side down. Let it soak in the garlicky butter. Put the garlic on top of the bok choy to protect it.
Turn over the bok choy after a nice char has developed. Again scoop the garlic pieces and put on top of the bok choy.
Enjoy a super tasty and low carb snack or side dish.
