Wings

Juicy and crispy wings are always a superhit.

You Need:

  • Chicken wings about 20 pieces.
  • An Egg.
  • Chilly Powder as per taste.
  • Turmeric Powder a quarter teaspoon.
  • Garlic Powder, a teaspoon.
  • Vinegar about 50 ml.
  • Potato Starch about 2 tablespoons.
  • Oil for frying.
  • Salt.

First mix the chilly powder, turmeric powder, garlic powder and salt. Taste and adjust accordingly. It should be a little spicier and saltier than what you like since it will get diluted with the other ingredients.

Add in the vinegar and egg. Mix thoroughly. There should be no lumps. Add one tablespoon of potato starch. Whisk till there are no lumps.

Marinate the chicken in this mix for at least 30 minutes. After that add the remaining potato starch and let it sit for another 10 mins.

Deep fry in hot oil at medium heat. Do not overcrowd the pan. Stir around occasionally. They will be done in about 5-6 minutes. Do not attempt plating this as they smell lovely and the family will be ready to riot if you waste time framing it.
