Butter makes everything better.
- Butter : 100 grams.
- Sugar : 50 grams.
- All Purpose Flour : 150 grams.
- Cardamom : 2, powdered.
- Baking powder : 1 tsp.
- Baking Soda : 1 tsp.
- Salt : a pinch.
Blitz the sugar and cardamom in the mixie till its a fine powder.
Put the butter in a microwave safe dish and nuke it for 30-40 seconds till its melted or fully softened.
Dissolve the sugar in the butter. Add the remaining ingredients and knead it into the shape of a ball.
Put it in the fridge for 15 minutes.
Portion it into biscuits. Do this delicately and avoid any cracks on the surface. Make into squares and put a small dimple on the top. Put them in a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Into the freezer for 15 mins.
Straight into a preheated oven at 160C for 20 mins and then another 10 mins at 180C.
Let them cool before digging in.
If you let them cool for at least an hour, they will become nice and crunchy. But since they smell so good when they come out of the oven be happy if you manage to save 2 or 3 biscuits for your mental satisfaction.
Enjoy.
