Chicken Salad

Missing restaurants, Nah!

You Need:

  • One boneless chicken breast.
  • Medium sized Garlic, make into a paste.
  • Lemon Juice.
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper powder.
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin powder.
  • 1 teaspoon of Pomegranate seed powder.
  • Oil for sauteing.
  • Chopped Tomatoes.
  • Chopped Cucumber.
  • Chopped Ice Berg Lettuce.
  • Basil Leaves.
  • Any Salad dressing.

Marinate for 30 mins, the whole chicken breast in garlic paste along with salt, pepper powder, cumin powder and pomegranate powder with lemon juice.

Grill with some oil. Preferably use something like mustard oil as it will also impart a lot of flavor. When you start feeling the chicken is cooked, start breaking it into smaller pieces using a fork and knife even as its cooking in the pan. This will let you easily check its doneness and prevent overcooking.

Mix together the tomatoes, cucumber, iceberg and drizzle any salad dressing of your choice. I preferred a scoop of Olive Oil Mayonnaise. Mix it well. Sprinkle a little salt and pepper to balance it.

Add the chicken and fresh basil leaves.

Enjoy.
