Mutton Fry

The smell of fried meat is the best fragrance in the world.

You Need:

  • 300 grams of boneless Mutton.
  • Ginger Garlic Paste: 1 tablespoon.
  • Green chilly paste : 1 teaspoon.
  • Thinly sliced Onion.
  • Diced tomato.
  • Turmeric powder.
  • Chilly powder.
  • Coriander powder.
  • Finely chopped fresh coriander.
  • Salt.
  • Oil.

Saute the onions till they are almost golden brown. Add the ginger garlic paste and green chilly paste. Cook till the raw smell is gone. Add the mutton and saute till its looking fully white.

Add chilly, coriander and turmeric powder. Give it a nice mix. Add the tomato and use it to de-glaze the pan.

Add no more 1/2 cup of water. Pressure cook for a whistle and then let it simmer on low heat for at least 20 minutes.

Open and cook on high heat. Reduce the consistency and add chopped coriander to further assist in deglazing the pan. Add a small spoon of butter to get some more shine.
