
Warning: This used whole Jowar and not every one enjoy chewing. The alternate is to use broken Jowar by running it to the thru the mixie for a minute or less.
You Need:
- Jowar, 1 cup.
- Water 3 cups.
- Onion, chopped.
- Broccoli florets.
- Diced Carrots.
- Coriander Powder.
- Turmeric Powder
- Green Chilies.
- Ginger Garlic Paste.
- Salted Butter.
Soak the Jowar in water for at least 30 mins but preferably longer.
Saute onions and green chilly in oil and when translucent add in the ginger-garlic paste and turmeric. When the raw edge is gone, add the coriander powder and carrots. Cook till the masala looks done.
Add the Jowar and 3 cups of hot water. Mix well and season with salt.
Add the broccoli florets and pressure cook. Give it at least 2 whistles and then simmer on low heat for 15 mins.
When the pressure has subsided on its open, open the cooker. Cook on high heat to bring it to the right consistency.
Put a piece of butter and let it melt into the dish.
