Everyone loves a good chicken leg.
You Need:
- Chicken legs.
- Garlic Paste.
- Red Chilly Powder.
- Turmeric Powder.
- Any generic garam masala powder or dry roasted spice mix.
- Juice of a lemon.
- A tablespoon of butter.
- Oil.
Wash the chicken legs and let them sit in salted water for about 30 minutes. This brining will keep them juicy and also help clean out whatever little blood is trapped in the vein hidden inside it.
Make slits on the legs and pat them dry.
Mix together the chilly power, turmeric and garam masala. It should be pleasant to taste. None of them must be overpowering. Mix in the garlic paste. Add a little oil. Make it into a thin paste and coat the chicken with it. You may leave the chicken legs for a couple of minutes.
Heat about 3-4 tablespoons of oil. When its shimmering add the chicken. Avoid overcrowding the pan. Cover and cook on medium heat for at least 9-10 minutes. Open and add in the butter and lemon juice. Cook on high heat till the collected moisture is almost gone.
Enjoy.
