A quick and simple lunch or dinner.
You Need:
- Spaghetti: Use about 15-20 strands per person.
- Broccoli Florets: Cut into small florets.
- Chopped Garlic.
- Butter.
- Olive Oil.
- Freshly ground pepper.
Heat water in a saucepan and add some salt to it. Put the spaghetti in it and let it cook on low to medium heat till the spaghetti is cooked. Save about 1/2 a tea cup of this water. Drain the remaining water. Do not wash the spaghetti.
Melt butter and add in some olive oil. Saute garlic till the raw smell is gone. Then add the broccoli. Cook till its bright green. Add another tablespoon of olive oil and the saved pasta water. Mix in the spaghetti and season with pepper. Check for salt and you may need to sprinkle in a little.
Enjoy.
