You Need:
- Fish, preferably the head and tail parts.
- 2 Onions, chopped.
- 1 Tomato, chopped.
- 3-4 Green chilies, slit open.
- Cloves.
- Cinnamon Stick.
- Turmeric powder.
- Red chilly powder.
- Coriander powder.
- Coriander leaves.
Rub some turmeric powder on the fish slices. Fry in oil. Remove and keep aside.
Use the same oil to saute some onions, When translucent add in the green chilies, cloves, cinnamon and ginger garlic paste. When the raw edge of the ginger garlic paste has gone, add in salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilly powder. Mix well.
Add in the tomatoes and coriander leaves. Cook till the oil separates. Add in water. You decide on the consistency. When it comes to a boil, bring the heat down to a a gentle simmer. Put in the fish. Cover the dish and let it simmer for 10 mins.
