Sprouted Fenugreek Seeds and Okra

Sprouted Fenugreek Seeds are a rich source of vital minerals and helps you look younger and live better. But they are also a little bitter. They pair beautifully with okra and ripe tomatoes. A simple vegan recipe that is full of flavor and goodness.

You Need:

  • 200 grams of Sprouted Fenugreek Seeds.
  • 250 grams of Okra.
  • Ripe tomatoes, chopped up.
  • An onion, chopped up.
  • Coriander leaves, chopped.
  • A little ginger garlic paste.
  • Turmeric.
  • Chilly powder as per taste.

Heat oil and then saute onions till they are translucent. At this stage they are actually a little sweet. Add in the ginger garlic paste, turmeric and chilly powder. Season with salt.

Add the Okra and cook uncovered at low heat till they are cooked. This will ideally take about 7-8 minutes. Check by eating a piece.

Add in the fneugreek seeds. Give it a quick mix. Add in the tomatoes. Mix well.

Dry it and also de-glaze the pan if needed.

Serve with rotis or eat as a salad.
