Simple fine dine experience at home.
You Need:
- Atlantic Salmon.
- Butter : About 50 grams per slice of salmon.
- Fresh Sage Leaves.
- Salt and Pepper.
Sprinkle some salt and pepper on the fish. Hot grill pan, place the fish, salted side up.
Meanwhile melt some butter in a small pan. When its fully melted, add the finely cut sage leaves. Take a little of this butter and use it to baste the fish.
Do not for even one second leave the butter and sage leaves. It needs your complete attention. The leaves will cook really fast and get crispy. Next step is charring and there is no recovery from that. Sage butter will be ready in less than 3 minutes or so.
Check the fish. If it lets go of the pan without much effort, its ready to be flipped.
Turn it over and sprinkle a little salt and pepper.
Get the fish out and drizzle the butter. Strike that, pour in the butter and sage leaves. Use fresh bread to mop up the butter and enjoy your gourmet experience right at home.
