Eggs are a power house of nutrition. They are many ways to consume them and an omelette lets you make them both flavorful and colorful.
You Need:
- One red bell pepper, cut into small pieces or grated.
- One Egg.
- Grated Cheese.
- Butter.
- Basil leaves.
Heat butter and fry the red bell pepper. Keep them spread out instead of getting stacked into one corner. Spread out the cheese on top. Let it melt into the peppers. Make a small depression in the middle.
Set heat to low. Either pour in a whisked egg or crack it directly on top. If you add a whole egg, then break the yolk and spread it around by revolving the pan. When the egg starts to set, add the fresh basil. Its easier if you roughly chop it. Avoid cooking the basil. They taste much better if they are just a little warmed.
Serve immediately. Enjoy.
