Everyone has their way to make the perfect boiled eggs. This is how I do it.
Take water in a saucepan. The amount of water must be such that the eggs will be fully immersed and no more.
Get water to a raging boil. Immediately reduce the heat to a low simmer. Using a spoon or tongs, carefully put the eggs inside the hot water. Let them continue on the low heat setting. If you like a runny yolk, get eggs out after eight minutes.
If you like them set but not overcooked. Switch off the heat at eight minutes and leave the eggs in the water for at five minutes or till you need them. This makes it ideal for the morning rush as you can go about your other errands.
Sprinkle pepper on eggs for the perfect seasoning.
Pair them up with some salted grapefruit for a perfect breakfast.
Enjoy.
