A simple millet dish with lots of flavor. Super alternate for rice and wheat.
You Need:
- 1 cup Proso millet, soaked in water for at least 30 mins.
- 3 Capsicums
- 1 Sweet Corn, remove kernels and keep ready.
- 3 green chillies
- 1 heaped teaspoon of cumin
- 2 Tablespoons of ghee
In a pressure pan, heat ghee. Saute green chilies and cumin. Add the capsicum and corn. Cook for about 5-6 mins. Season with salt.
Mix the millet. Add two cups of water. Pressure cook for 2 whistles on high.
Serve with any fried protein.
I paired it with some lovely pink perch.
