First assemble all the old vegetables in the house. The plan is to figure out how to add them to the dish. Carrots are the most sturdy, potatoes are next. Capsicum and corn take the least amount of time to cook.
Prepare the flavoring. I had some dill leaves. So ran them in a blender with cumin, green chilies, sesame seeds and a lot of garlic.
Prepare the base of the dish. Melt butter in oil. Fry onions, add ginger garlic paste. Saute till the raw smell is gone. Add mutton. Sprinkle turmeric. Cook till the meat is all white.
Add carrots, potatoes, capsicum and finally corn. Add the green masala.
Add a cup of washed and soaked basmati rice. Add water. If you want rice soft then ratio is 1:1.5 for rice:water. Else go with 1:1.25 for rice:water.
Add salt. Pressure cook on high for one whistle. Then simmer it for 10 mins.
Open when pressure has dissipated. Enjoy a lazy yummy all-in-one lunch.
